"Peenaquim and White Wolf stood on a hill looking down on a Crow camp
and planning their raid. That night each found his own route to the
camp. Peenaquim found a lodge where two horses were tied to a post. He
cut their rope and led them into a bush. White Wolf found a lodge with a
half-lodge in front of it. Inside the half-lodge was a white horse with
a rope around its neck. The loose end of the rope lay in the hand of a
man who was sleeping nearby. White Wolf cut the rope, mounted the horse,
and joined his friend. Together, they returned home with nice horses."
