In his book, Haunted Mesa, Louis L'Amour stretches the imagination as his protagonist learns the astonishing legacy of the Anasazi.

Pulled through a warp in time and place, where one world stops and the other world begins,  L'Amour created a spot in my imagination about what the mesa held.  Could it be?  Could this place really exist?  Did it look like this?  Or is it all really just a dream?  Perhaps sometimes we just see things in reverse.

Where did they all go?  Did they find a place on the other side?  The mesa holds quiet secrets that we can only sense, secrets that create dreams of what was on the flat mesa top, and what really happened way up there, so long ago.  Things that create images in our mind.  Come, explore with us.
